![]() It's a plague that affects most hardware manufacturers sadly. Next time I have an issue and reinstall this, they will all be back too! Even then, I was not able to remove most of the useless features bundled with it. I tried uninstalling all the different components of Dragon Center manually, which took about twenty minutes because every time it would restart the software and reload all the other SDKs. Either I cope with a bunch of bloatware, or I have to manually unplug the RGB header from my GPU's PCB to turn the Rainbow off, giving up entirely on its ARGB features (which is one of the reasons I chose this specific card model).Įdit: It seems like after reinstalling it a fourth time, my GPU clocks no longer get stuck at 1470hz. I could endure it at the beginning, but it's pretty much become a deal breaker now. I am honestly considering returning my GPU because of this crap. WHENEVER I INSTALL DRAGON CENTER, MY GPU DOES NOT DOWNCLOCK WHEN IDLE AND MY FANS KEEP RAMPING UP EVERY FIVE MINUTES (and yes my power profile in Nvidia control panel is fine)Īs I was writing this, reinstalling Dragon Center for the fourth time, I was barely able to type this post because of all the installation popups that would remove the focus from my browser window. The standalone version doesn't work with my GPU. I don't need nor ever asked for a LAN manager.ĪLL I need is Mystic Lights. Nvidia does that just fine without your bloatware. I don't need game highlights or custom color profiles. It's 100% useless to know my GPU clocks and temperatures when I'm NOT in a game. I don't need a non-overlayable GPU resource monitor. I don't want to be logged into an account and send data to MSI. I don't need overclocking or custom clock profiles through Dragon Center (Afterburner by the SAME COMPANY does a MUCH better job). I don't need specific game optimizations (I already have GeForce Experience that does that). ![]() All I want to do is change the RGB from the default rainbow puke.
